He said, “We want to project Rangers International through social media network, raise funds and attract more fans for the club.
“We are targeting up to one million fans membership and at the same time trying to be accountable on our activities to the media and the people of the state.
“This project is in line with the Enugu State Government agenda to make all establishments entrepreneurial as much as you can without being dependent on government sponsorship.”
According to him, the project is media driving hence the media would be fully involved.
The Administrative Secretary said that the major place of this business would be online through, You Tube, Twitter, club online TV and others where fans can subscribe.
He noted that the fans will have to pay N1000 as a bragging right in order to get other benefits for being a member.
“We are working out a proposal to establishing club membership, Rangers ambassador and fans scheme that will drive all we do in office as a club.
“This project is to give Rangers International the maximum support and sponsorship it needed to excel in it’s football activities.
“We have employed a sound and technical adviser in Fidelis Ilechukwu to help the club in the field and believe he will do well,” Ugwuarua said.
Ugwuarua said that the state government had structured the club in such a way that a single person cannot hold the club to ransom.
He disclosed that the club would soon return to the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium following the government interest in completing renovation work at the Cathedral.
