Nearly 19 hours after the collapse of National electricity grid, the Eko Electricity Distribution Company has announced that power supply has been restored nationwide.
The power restoration was contained in a statement by the Eko Disco on X, announcing that the national electricity grid has been fixed and power supply restored nationwide.
The statement obtained by Ikengaonline read: “Dear valued customer, kindly be informed that power supply has been restored from the grid. Thank you for your patience.”
Ikengaonline, however, reports that at the time of filing this story, the power outage still persists in many parts of the country including the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja.
