More than one thousand two hundred corps members who took part in the orientation course for the 2023 Batch C Stream One at Eziama Obaire in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State have been deployed to their areas of primary assignments.
The Coordinator National Youths Service Corps NYSC in Imo State, Mrs Rachel Idaewor, at the closing of their orientation charged them to integrate with host communities and initiate projects that will impact positively on the lives of the people.
Mrs. Idaewor advised them to take advantage of the post-camp Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme of the scheme aimed at empowering them to better their lots even after the service year, noting that the scheme was committed to the welfare of corps members.
While appealing to the youths to remain patriotic and diligent in their conduct, Mrs. Idaewor cautioned them against unauthorised movements out of the state and to be security conscious.
