Immediate past Commissioner for Education in Anambra State, Professor Kate Omenugha, has emerged as the new acting Vice-Chancellor of Chuwkwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Uli and Igbariam campuses, Anambra State.
A statement by Press Secretary to the governor, Christian Aburime, disclosed the appointment by Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Wednesday.
Prof Omeugha, who is a member of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) replaces Professor Greg C. Nwakoby following the expiration of his tenure as Vice-Chancellor of COOU.
Also appointed was Professor Louis Chukwuemeka Orakwue, as the State Project Coordinator, Anambra State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP).
