The owner of Porshe Nightclub where about seven persons were killed on Sunday has reportedly been kidnapped.
Ikengaonline reported that yet-to-be identified gunmen launched attack on the nightclub in Oba Idemili South Local Government Area, killing seven including operatives of the Vigilante in the area.
However, a fresh report emerging from the incident has revealed that the owner of the ill fated club, Chief Ebele Orji, was equally kidnapped during the attack.
Following the attack, a Facebook user, Agumba Idemili, believed to be an indigene of the community, posted: “Pray for our brother. After heavy gunshots at his club for over one hour, and after killing so many people, he was kidnapped with some people. Pray for his safety.
“C.E.O Porche Club Ebele Orji is a good man, he doesn’t deserve such. May Chukwu Okike Abiama protect him. Fans pray for Oba. Oba is bleeding.”
Another Facebook user with the name Why Worry, corroborated the claim saying that his younger brother was among those taken, and that they were yet to hear from the kidnappers.
Spokesperson of Anambra State Police Command, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, had earlier stated that Police had declared manhunt for the criminals, adding that no arrest has been made.
