A book entitled, “Dis Life No Balance, an Anthology of Nigeria Diaspora Voices,” written by the trio of prolific writers, Farooq Kperogi, Moses Ochonu, and Osmund Agbo, is for public presentation in Abuja on Thursday, December 15.
The book has its foreword written by eminent scholar, Professor Toyin Falola.
Venue for the book presentation is National Press Centre Abuja (Radio House) while time is 10:00am West African Time (WAT).
The book presentation is to be chaired by the Vice Chancellor, University of Abuja, Professor Abdul Rasheed Na’ Allah; while the Chief Launcher is the immediate Governor of Sokoto State, Senator Aminu Tambuwal.
Human Rights lawyer and Activist, Femi Falana, is to deliver a keynote speech at the book presentation event.
According to a programme sighted by Ikengaonline, the event will also feature a panel discussion on ” Defying the Odds: Nigeria’s Pathway to Hopeful Horizons.”
The panelists include: Former Dean Faculty of Law, University of Nigeria Nsukka, UNN, Professor Joy Ezeilo; Newspaper Columnist and Social Commentator, Majeed Dahiru; Epidemiologist, Dr Mohammad Shakir Balogun; and Assistant Chief Legal Officer, Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Amina Miango.
Veteran Journalist and the Editorial Board Chairman of Blue Print Newspapers, Hajiya Zainab Suleiman Okino, will anchor the panel discussion according to the programme of events.
Ikengaonline had reported that according to the authors, Ochonu, Agbo and Kperogi, the book contains thirty-six essays as well “as three back and forth conversations on important existential questions confronting Nigeria.”
