The Super Eagles of Nigeria, Friday evening, defeated their Angolan counterparts, the Palancas Negras, by a lone goal at the on-going African Cup of Nations championship in Ivory Coast.
Nigeria’s only goal, which came in the 41st minute of the first half was scored by the prolific Ademola Lookman after brilliant works on left left flank by Man of the Match, Moses Simon.
The Eagles who have now advanced to semi finals stage of the competition will next meet the winner of the encounter between South Africa and the Cape Verde.
