The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has been thrown into mourning following the death of the mother of its Leader, Comrade Uchenna Madu.
The deceased, Mrs Ezinne Chibuzo Ekenma Madu, died last Sunday at the age of 70.
This was contained in a statement issued by MASSOB National Director of Information, Comrade Edeson Samuel, and made available to Ikengaonline.
The statement said “she was a devout Christian and women community leader, a caring mother to many and the less-privileged ones.”
MASSOB said it was devastated by the news of the exit of its leader’s late mother.
She was said to have died about two weeks after she was discharged from the hospital where she had undergone eye surgery.
