The Anambra State Civic and Social Reformation Office (ANCISRO) has remained a strong force in positively shaping civic attitudes and community values across the state.
The Managing Director of ANCISRO, Sir Chuka I. Nnabuife, highlighted the agency’s numerous achievements within its first year of existence as it marked its one-year anniversary.
He commended Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo for establishing the agency on September 1, 2024, describing ANCISRO as a timely intervention given the rising social decadence, internet-driven false lifestyles, and general disregard for noble values in today’s society.
Nnabuife explained that ANCISRO works tirelessly to ensure that Anambra society retains its core values and ethical standards. While acknowledging existing challenges, he emphasized that the agency is steadily instilling values of discipline, hard work, and social responsibility.
“Our work is to ensure that Anambra society retains its core values and ethical standards. We are committed to reducing vices such as electoral malpractices and voter apathy while fostering a culture where Ndi Anambra uphold what is right,” he said.
Within one year, ANCISRO has reached more than one million residents through radio, television, social media publications, and direct community engagements.
The agency has also launched several school campaign projects, directly engaging over 10,000 students.
In addition, it has produced more than 20 publications—including jingles, films, and articles—aimed at reshaping public behavior.
