Enugu State Commissioner for Lands and Urban Development, Mr Victor Nnam on Friday resigned from his appointment. In a letter dated Oct. 29, 2021 and addressed to the state governor, Nnam said that his resignation was due to undue interference from certain quarters. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has taken its War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) to heads of federal establishments in Enugu State. The NDLEA Commander in the state, Mr Bassey Anietie, said that the move was one of the measures the agency had deployed with a view to winning the war. A Professor of Law, Osita Ogbu has called on the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) to strengthen its constitution in line with the doctrine of the Rule of Law.
