Lawrence Nwimo, Awka  The MIL Intercultural Dialogue Foundation, MILID, a not-for-profit organisation, has empowered youths in the South-East region with critical information literacy skills to combat misinformation and gender-based violence (GBV).  The workshop themed: “MIL in Youths Organisations,” was held in collaboration with United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in Awka, Anambra State capital. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Ebonyi State Government has commenced construction of 8km road that links four villages: Ebyia Unuphu, Nkaleke,  Echara and Mgbabor within Abakaliki, the state capital. The state Commissioner for Works, Lebechi Mbam, who flagged off the project on Wednesday, said it would be completed within eight months. He noted the the project was divided into four and given to four indigenous contractors to ensure timely completion.
