Recall that the abductors of the 280 students had demanded N 1 billion as ransom or they will eliminate the victims by March 30. Sam Onuigbo, has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for undertaking the reconstruction of Imo Bridge destroyed during the 30-month Nigerian civil war, over five decades ago. Chief Onuigbo who addressed newsmen in Umuahia, noted that the bridge which links Abia and Imo communities, had been in deplorable condition since after the civil war. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Anambra State Local Government Service Commission has relieved six deputy directors in its employ of their jobs following their possession of fake degrees from Imo State University.
