Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has flagged-off the construction of 3.2 kilometers Okpunoeze-Nnewi Hotel Road. Also flagged-off was the 2.2 kilometer Isaho Umuezeogu-NAUTH (Teaching Hospital Permanent site) Road. Both elections according to the electoral umpire, will now hold on Saturday, March 18. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Police in Ebonyi State have killed three gunmen who attacked residents in Ivo Local Government Area of the State. Police spokesperson, Onome Onovwakpoyeya, stated this in a statement on Wednesday. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has been granted its request to reconfigure the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS  used for the February 25 presidential and national assembly elections. Presidential Election Petition Court sitting at the Court of Appeal in Abuja, granted the request on Wednesday. The court, in a unanimous decision by a three-member panel of justices, held that preventing the electoral umpire from reconfiguring the BVAS would adversely affect the forthcoming governorship and State Assembly elections.
