Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Police in Anambra State have arrested a couple trafficking a one-month-old Baby from Lagos State to Anambra. Police operatives made the interception at Bridgehead in Onitsha, as the couple were travelling in a Luxury bus belonging to a popular transport company with the baby when a co-passenger observed that the mother could not breastfeed the baby, despite its cry for food in the course of the journey. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia The President of the United Nations Human Rights Council, Václav Bálek (Czech Republic), has announced the appointment of Joy Ezeilo of Nigeria; Mohamed Chande Othman of Tanzania; and Mona Rishmawi of Jordan/Switzerland to serve as the three independent members of the new Independent International Fact-Finding Mission for the Sudan. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Barely one month after four children of same parents in Umuahia, Abia State capital were stollen by the tricycle operator conveying them to school, the State Police Command, has confirmed the stealing of another four children.
