Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Minister of External Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, has announced the recall of all Nigerian Ambassadors by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Both career and non-career Ambassadors were affected by the recall. This was contained in a statement by his SA, Media and Communications Strategy, Alkasim Abdulkadir. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Senator Mao Ohuabunwa who represented Abia North in the eight Senate, on Saturday, buried his late wife, Lady Nimi Ohuabunwa, amidst tears and grief at his Arochukwu country home. The Late Lady Ohuabunwa died at the age of 61 after a prolonged illness. Meanwhile friends and well wishers, political associates and people from all walks of life competed for recognition at the burial ceremony that could almost pass for a rally of sorts. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Abia State Government has announced the disengagement of  all public servants recruited towards the end of the tenure of the immediate-past Governor Okezie Ikpeazu. Ben Ezechime, Enugu The Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), on Friday, presented the Mandatory Conformity Assessment Programme (MANCAP) certification for quality products production to 14 manufacturing companies in Enugu. Ben Ezechime, Enugu Enugu State Government has promised Rangers International FC that Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium will be ready to host the club’s 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) home matches. A statement issued by Rangers FC media officer, Norbert Okolie said that the promise was made by the State Commissioner of Youth and Sports, Llyod Ekweremadu, when seeing the team off to their close camping in Awka. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Dr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, has disclosed that the Igbo apex group is concluding plans to stage the maiden Igbo cultural carnival in the South-East.
