Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Unknown gunmen on Friday attacked soldiers on patrol in Aba, the commercial nerve-centre of Abia State, after ambushing their patrol vehicle. The attackers, according to reports, also set ablaze the patrol vehicle used by the soldiers. Ikengaonline gathered that the incident took place at the popular Tonimass Junction, Osisioma, on the Enugu-Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway. Chukwudike Ndubeze, Awka Gunmen on Thursday evening followed up attack at Aguata Local Government Area Secretariat at Ekwulobia with the invasion of a cattle market in Igboukwu, a neighbouring town.  Ikengaonline learnt from a source who confirmed the incident that the gunmen headed for Igboukwu where they allegedly killed cattle and goats in the market.
