Ike Nnachi Abakaliki Fr. Joseph Azubuike, the Catholic priest kidnapped on Monday in Ebonyi has regained freedom. Also, three other individuals who were kidnapped with him were also freed by the gunmen. Rev Father Mathew Opoke, Chancellor of Abakaliki Diocese confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday night. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki The Police in Ebonyi say their men killed two gunmen enforcing the sit-at-home order during a gun duel. Two other gunmen were also arrested. Police  spokesperson, Onome Onovwakpoyeya, stated this in a statement on Tuesday. Ben Ezechime, Enugu Scores of passengers have feared dead and many injured in a fatal  Motor accident which occurred on Tuesday July, involving a GUO bus and a tanker at Ugwu Onyeama by Ebugu-Onitsha Expressway in Udi Local Government Area. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Abia workers and pensioners are excited as Governor Alex Otti has directed immediate payment of arrears of April salaries owed public workers in the state by his predecessor, Okezie Ikpeazu’s administration.
