Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Anambra State Police Command has confirmed the killing of three persons including two police officers and a civilian by a gang of criminals in Anambra State. The gang was said to have laid an ambush for a 6-man police team and a civilian car tracker who were on a recovery operation of a Toyota Sienna Space Wagon vehicle earlier snatched on gun point penultimate weekend in Oye-Agu Abagana, Anambra State. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Civil Society Organizations in the country have condemned the non-implementation of provisions of the Climate Change Act 2021 by Nigeria’s Federal Government. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Anambra State Government has made it clear that it has not made any form of increment to the normal tax rates paid by traders annually in the state. The clarification was made by the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry Dr Obinna Ngonadi against the backdrop of information making the rounds that the state government has multiplied taxation for traders in all markets.
