Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP Peter Obi has floored his All Progressives Congress counterpart, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in Lagos, which is considered Tinubu’s strongest stronghold.
This is even as the Labour Party governorship candidate for Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, had alleged that his party was not going to accept the declared results because they did not tally with the original poling units results in their possession.
He stated this while appearing Monday on Arise TV live programme, Morning Show.
The Lagos LP flag bearer insisted that they would have won with a larger margin were it not for the manipulations of the polling unit results at the collation centres by the APC with the active connivance of Lagos INEC.
The final results declared in Lagos showed that Obi polled 582,664 while Tinubu got 541,850.
Tinubu, however, won in 11 out of the 20 Local Government Areas in Lagos, Obi’s votes in nine LGAs were more in number.
