Governor Chukwuma Soludo, of Anambra State has congratulated the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, the Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor as he clocked 71 years of age.
Soludo said that the cleric had impartially touched the lives of People who at any time encountered him as a clergy irrespective of denomination or social status.
Soludo in his congratulatory message made available to Ikengaonline on Wednesday in Awka described Ezeokafor as a guiding light in the Catholic community.
He said that the cleric had impacted the people positively with love and compassion, and remained unwavering in his commitment to the service of God.
Soludo further noted that, aside the Bishop’s selfless service within the church which has undeniably earned him tremendous respect and admiration, his fatherly disposition to all and sundry had equally made him a respectable figure in the state.
The Governor, therefore, on behalf of the government and good people of Anambra State, expressed gratitude to God Almighty for the exemplary life of the cleric.
He wished the Bishop many more years of good health and selfless service in the vineyard of the Lord.
