The Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, Imo State, has handed over N355,000.00 cash recovered from an accident victim to the deceased family.
Assistant Corps Commander, ACC, Mr Yildung Bitrus, in charge of Okigwe Unit Command who handed over the cash to the deceased family member on Thursday, in Owerri, said that the accident occured last Tuesday.
The cash was handed over to Isiaka, one of the relatives to the accident victim who died in the auto crash along Okigwe/Umuahia expressway.
Giving a breakdown of cash and other items recovered, Bitrus said that N500.00 was also recovered from the deceased victim.
Isiaka thanked the FRSC personnel for the gesture and prayed God to bless them.
