Michael Onwuka, Enugu The Supreme Court has upheld the de-registration of 22 political parties by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC. Justice Ejembi Eko in a judgment delivered on Friday in Abuja, voided and set aside a judgment of the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division which had nullified the de-registration. Recall that INEC had on February 6, 2020, de-registered 74 political parties for their failure to win any political office in the 2019 general election. The Public Affairs Officer of the consulate, Mr. Steven Ibeli, disclosed this on Thursday in Enugu during the closing ceremony of the Back-to-Science Initiative of Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu. In a video trending online, the lady was stripped naked and all manner of abuses rained on her for allegedly causing the death of her husband by commiting adultery.
