There are strong indications that David Ukpo Nwamini, the supposed organ donor to the daughter of former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, is not an under-aged but over 21 years old contrary to reports and claims in some quarters.

Nwamini had reportedly claimed he was 15 years and was trafficked to the UK for organ harvest but details of information in his international passport revealed otherwise.

In fact, the age on his passport read 21 years, and a further digging into his Facebook page photos revealed his photos showing he actually could be above 15 years.

His passport indicates he was born on October 12, 2000.

Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice Nwanneka Ekweremadu, were arrested and detained in the United Kingdom for allegedly trafficking Nwamini for the harvest of organ for their ailing child suffering from kidney failure.

They were arraigned before Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court but denied bail.

Ekweremadu had written the United Kingdom High Commission ahead of the visit and backed Nwamini’s visa application on the claim that he was coming to the United Kingdom for medical investigation in regard to an organ transplant.

However, it appeared that the boy was inappropriate to be a donor on the account that he claimed that he was 15 and was trafficked to the United Kingdom by the Ekweremadus.

The revelation of his age as 21 is expected to bring succour to the politician and his family held by the Metropolitan Police in UK.

Following the latest discovery, some people are beginning to sympathize with Ekweremadu, suspecting there could be a set up against the former Deputy Senate President.

Some social media commentators are also beginning to direct their anger on the supposed donor.
