The Technical Adviser of Rangers International Football Club of Enugu, Abdul Maikaba, said the team will do all in their power to shock Niger Tornadoes of Minna with a win in Kaduna on Sunday.
Rangers will on Sunday confront Tornadoes in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match day four.
This is contained in a statement from the club Media Officer, Norbert Okolie, and made available to Ikengaonline.
According to him, Maikaba gave the assurance after the team training at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna venue of the week four encounter.
He quoted the tactician as saying, that the match against Tornadoes was just like any other match they have played in the past.
“This match is not exceptional just that we would approach it with more determination and tenacity to get back to winning ways.
“I appreciate the fact that we are playing against a top side with a great coach but we have our work cut out which is to annex all three points at stake.
“It is achievable and we shall work towards realising it but want our fans to be patient with us and expect the best from us in the encounter.
“We are coming into this fixture from a difficult position and it is our desire to quickly leave the position we currently occupy to challenge for one of the three qualifiers from our group,” Maikaba said.
