Enugu Rangers Supporters Club has congratulated Peter Mbah on his election and inauguration as the Governor of Enugu State.
This is contained in a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Enugu by the Chairman of the supporters club, Dr Uchenna Orji.
Orji said the inauguration heralded a new beginning and new things to come in the state.
He said the supporters club was happy to identify with the governor and urged him to take sports to higher heights.
Orji described Mbah as a sports loving governor and expressed no doubt that he would not abandon the sector in driving the state to a remarkable height.
He called on the new administration to ensure the completion of the ongoing renovation work at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium for Rangers FC come back.
The chairman also urged the government to speedy up the appointment of a substantive general manager and team manager for Rangers FC and a competent Sports Commissioner.
