President Bola Tinubu, Thursday, appointed former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Nuhu Ribadu, as his Special Adviser on Security.
Tinubu also appointed Mr Dele Alake as Special Adviser, Special Duties; and Mr. Wale Edun as Special Adviser, Monetary Policies.
According to a statement signed by the State House Director of Information, Abiodun Oladunjoye, Tinubu also appointed Dr Salma Anas (Health).
Other Special Advisers appointed by the President include Yau Darazo (Political and Inter-governmental Affairs); Olu Verheijen (Energy) and Zachaeus Adedeji (Revenue).
Meanwhile, South-East got its first slot in the over 15 appointments so far made by Tinubu as John Uwajumogu was appointed Special Adviser for Industry, Trade and Investment.
Ikengaonline reports that the recent appointments are coming eight days after Tinubu asked the Senate to approve his appointment of 20 special advisers to run his administration.
