Four suspected electricity installations vandals have been arrested in Afikpo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
The suspects were arrested by Neigborhood Watch Operatives in the council on Thursday morning.
They were alleged to specialise in stealing transformers and electricity wires in different parts of the country.
The suspects who came from the South-South Zone of Nigeria, targeted to steal a particular Transformer at Akpoha in Afikpo Local Government Area.
It was learned that they were at the verge of carrying the transformer at Akpoha when they were intercepted by the members of the Neighborhood Watch.
They allegedly came in the company of an indigene of Akpoha community who is currently at large.
The Commander of the Neighborhood Watch, Afikpo LGA, Mr Michael Urom led his men to apprehended the Suspects.
Mr Urom called on the members of the public to report any suspicious persons or suspicious moves to security agencies for prompt action.
He added that such will help in ending crimes and criminalities in the society quickly.
The suspects were later handed over to the Police for interrogation and prosecution.
