Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia At last,a Bayelsa State High Court sitting in Yenagoa, Thursday, stopped a proposed rally for the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Mr Nyesom Wike. The court presided over by Justice I.A. Uzakah issued an order restraining associates of  Wike from holding a mega rally in the state pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice.  The rally is scheduled for Yenagoa on April 12, 20. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia The Chairman, Labour Party Caretaker Committee, Senator Nenadi Usman, has described the latest judgment of the Supreme Court, which sacked Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the party, as victory for democracy and the rule of law. Our Reporter, Abuja  The Supreme Court Friday sacked Barr. Julius Abure from his position as the National Chairman of the Labour Party. In doing so, the apex court overturned the decision made by the Court of Appeal in Abuja, which acknowledged Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP).
