Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Nine persons have died from cholera outbreak in Akpoha community, Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. Also many others from the area have been hospitalised and receiving treatment in various hospitals in the State. Official reports put the number of those hospitalised at 30 but residents say the number may be higher. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Motorists and commuters plying the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway, Saturday, had sad experiences following an alleged clash between unknown gunmen and security operatives. The situation led to the blockage of the dual carriage way at Limca Junction Okigwe, resulting into diversion of traffic into local routes.
