Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki A Chinese expatriate has reportedly been attacked and shot dead in Ebonyi State. Details of the attack were still sketchy as at the time of this report, but sources said the incident happened at a mining site at Iboko, in Izzi Local Government Area of the state on Sunday. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Human rights group, the Civil Liberties Organization (CLO), has launched an appeal to Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo to establish Flood Victims Trust Fund as well as the Flood Victims Welfare Committee to enable the government to source funds towards providing adequate relief materials, and palliatives to flood victims.
