Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki The police have arraigned three men before an Abakaliki Magistrate Court, Ebonyi State, for allegedly attempting to kill one Mr Marcellinus Chima with gun. The accused include Michael Nwoja, 71; Nwafor Elube, 48; and Chidi Ogwala,  36. The defendants were arraigned before Chief Magistrate Ojemba Isu-Oko on two-count charge bothering on conspiracy and murder. They, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia The family of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has expressed fury and over the alleged refusal of the Department of the State Services, DSS, to grant Kanu’s personal physicians access to him. Kanu’s younger brother, Prince Emmanuel Kanu, who spoke with Ikengaonline, explained that the team arrived following the recommendation of emergency ear surgery by the DSS, medical unit. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia The ninth Senate, Tuesday approved  the request by President Bola Tinubu to appoint 20 Special Advisers. Tinubu’s request was granted after it was read on the floor of the red chamber by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan. The President, however,  did not disclose the names of the 20 Special Advisers. Tinubu had so far made seven appointments with five from his ethnic Yoruba while two from the North.
