Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Many members of the Labour Party in Ebonyi State have been injured following an attack on the party’s rally venue by gunmen in the state. The Director-General of Voice of Nigeria, Osita Okechukwu, has said that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s move to reconcile with Governor Nyesom Wike’s group in the Peoples Democratic Party is belated. Nonsochukwu Uwa, Owerri Thugs have allegedly stopped the inauguration of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential campaign council in Imo state, on Sunday. Some party leaders who spoke to newsmen at the party Secretariat in Owerri made the allegation and allegedly linked it to the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Samuel Anyanwu. First was the statement from the chairman of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Mohammed Bello Shehu, when he paid a courtesy visit to the chairman of Nigerian Governors’ Forum, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State in his office in Abuja.
