Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia The Management of the Abia State University, ABSU, has cleared the air over the controversy on the actual number of months the staff of the university are owed arrears of salary. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Civil Liberties Organisation (CLO) Anambra State has called on Governor Chukwuma Soludo to expedite action towards evacuation and clearing of refuse dump sites in various parts of the state. The group said the clearing of waste bins and refuse has become inevitable to avoid flooding, health hazards and erosion. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Two persons have been reported dead following attack by suspected Fulani cattle dealers at Obinetiti Dusogu Awkuzu, Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State. The victims are Mr Anayo Nwosa from Igbuala village Ifitedunu, and 35 year-old Chinonso Okpatu from Ire village Abba.
